Give a two-sun scene two deliberate light sources

Two suns in a painting can be more than duplicated circles. NASA notes that multiple-star systems exist, but that fact alone does not determine the lighting of an invented planet. Treat a two-sun landscape as a stated visual premise and investigate the consequences you actually show, rather than claiming a scientifically validated orbit.

Choose the two sources in a rough study

Draw a plain courtyard with a wall and one upright object. Put the two imagined light sources in chosen directions, then decide their relative strength and colour for this study. Keep those choices beside the thumbnail. You are establishing an illustration condition, not deriving the star system’s physics. If only one source strongly affects the scene, make that deliberate rather than allowing the second sun to vanish from every lighting decision.

Inspect one shadow relationship

Study the wall and the upright object before painting a whole city. Consider which source reaches each surface and where an object blocks it. Where the light conditions become complicated, make a separate simplified sketch or seek a suitable rendering reference. Avoid automatically duplicating identical black shadows; the other source may still illuminate an area. Keep the result readable rather than adding extra shadows merely to advertise the premise.

Carry the premise into a nearby scene

Move the viewpoint under an arch or behind the wall and keep the same source positions for the same moment. Check whether the lighting changes because of shelter rather than because the suns silently move. Then write one ordinary action affected by the chosen conditions, such as selecting a shaded workspace. This connects the sky to experience while leaving the astronomical questions separate for deeper development if the project needs them.
