The rule beneath the world
“Gods consume beasts, beasts consume humans; only the anomalous reverse the chain.” The story’s central conflict concerns this order and its origin. Conserved spirit energy gives every use of power a cost.

Read the landscapes beside the foundational rules: the three-realm food chain, conserved spirit energy and a world whose power always has a cost.
VISUAL FOCUS
Compare silhouettes, urban density and natural scale before designing the rules behind a place.

The setting names three energy resources: Qingjing spirit ore, Youwu gas and primordial bio-energy. Their forms are solid, gaseous and liquid or symbiotic. Crystal illustrations are material studies, not a replacement for these rules.
Ostwald Kingdom has the capital Antalis. Dites City is tied to spirit-energy industry and the Ye Association; Mile City carries the street-level economy. The spirit-beast realm and spirit abyss belong to different powers.
The Kochaer ancient coin triggers a cycle only when it accidentally falls against Xiao Ling’s ankle totem. It cannot be deliberately activated. The preceding 112 cycles are erased from memory, while each failure damages his spirit irreversibly.

Use a consistent reference set: character, prop, environment, then composition. Record each choice before a new iteration.

Look at armor joints, wing profiles and readable energy pathways. These are visual references, not engineering drawings.
